Any new or urgent medication, received by 2pm, will be delivered on the same day, provided we have the medication in stock, or the following day. Our aim is to keep enough urgent medication such commonly prescribed antibiotics and regular painkillers. Whenever, if we are not able to dispense and deliver on the same day. Yes, BUT we are happy to discuss other options on a need basis and work out the best solution for you. For example, if you have controlled medication, we would need a signature to confirm delivery, if you have fridge medications, we will need to hand them over to someone.
At Remedium pharmacy, we believe that everyone has different needs and require a different level of support with their medicines. However, dosette boxes might not be the best option for most people. Therefore prior to agreeing to start on dosette boxes, we will do an assessment to discuss whether it is the right compliance support tool for you or explore other options with a potential referral for medication support.
You have a choice of where you have your medication dispensed. We will never nominate anyone without consent. We are unable to do so until someone provides us with your personal details. It could be a representative or your prescriber when they ask where to send your prescription or you must have completed our nomination form or calls us to nominate. If you are in doubt or have questions, please do call us on tel:01362 562557.
Prior to delivering your medication we will always give you a call to arrange to pay, either by remote card transfer or you can pay by cash when we deliver. We will always advise you the cheapest ways to pay for your medication. For example, if you are prescribed a cheaper item to buy over the counter or if you could benefit from a prepayment exemption card.
